Generating MDA's platform independent model using URDAD
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper formulates a set of minimal requirements for the Platform Independent Model (PIM) of the Model Driven Architecture (MDA). It then defines the Use Case, Responsibility Driven Analysis and Design methodology (URDAD) which provides a simple, algorithmic design methodology generating a PIM satisfying the specified PIM requirements. 2008 Elsevier B.V. Using Aspects for Platform-Independent to Platform-Dependent Model Transformations
This paper presents an aspect-based approach for realizing a transformation from platform-independent to platform-dependent models in the context of a model transformation chain that generates queueing-based performance models from UML design models of serviceoriented applications. The purpose of generating such performance models is to evaluate the performance of the system under development i...
متن کاملXml Based Solution to MDA
We know that UML is widely used for the specification and modeling of software. Model driven approach uses unified modeling language as platform independent model and convert it into platform specific model by adopting different strategies. However nonuniformity in strategy makes UML based MDA a challenging job. Also very less number of platform specific code is generated when UML Platform Inde...
متن کاملA New Method for Generating CIM Using Business and Requirement Models
The foundation of Model Driven Architecture (MDA) approach is creation of models. MDA life cycle begins from Computation Independent Model (CIM) and ends with code. Object Management Group (OMG) explains various models and their relations, but it does not specify clearly how to create these models and which models to use for representation them. In this paper, we focus on CIM level. CIM is the ...
متن کاملGeneration of Platform-Specific Model Transformation Plugins for EJB 3.0
The current paper presents a technique for generating standalone model transformation plugins for the EJB 3.0 platform from platform-independent specifications of transformations given by a combination of graph transformation and abstract state machine rules (as used within the Viatra2 framework). As a result, the design of transformations can be separated from the execution of transformations....
